Abstract

The seminar explores pressing questions at the intersection of artificial intelligence and offshore wind energy. We survey open problems in artificial intelligence, including robustness to distribution shift; interpretability and trustworthy decision-making; data efficiency and bias reduction; integration of domain knowledge and physics; and the environmental footprint of large-scale computation.
